Themes are created to personalize your handset. IPhones give you the ability to change the wallpaper, sounds, icons and dock. There are preset themes on your iPhone, but you can choose your own personal themes. You can set the theme on any iPhone no matter what network you have purchased it from.
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
- Go to the iPhone theme generator at iphonethemegenerator.com. (See Reference.)
- Click "Upload wallpaper" and select the picture file you want to use as your iPhone wallpaper. This can be a Jpeg. or Bitmap (Btm) File. After selecting the file you want, click "OK" or "Open." A full-screen version of your picture should appear on the mock iPhone on the screen. You may also choose options from the iphonethemegenerator library by clicking "Select From Gallery."
- Change the onscreen icons. Click each icon individually and select whether you want a personalized icon from their gallery or one from you own PC. If you are choosing from the online gallery, click the icon of your choice twice. If you are selecting it from your PC, click "Upload from PC" and then select the icon before clicking "Open."
- Click "Upload" under the option "Dock" to change your iPhone's dock. It will open your computer file. Find the file that houses the picture of your choice and double-click it. To choose from the online gallery, click "Select From Gallery."
- Click "Upload" under the "Status Bar" icon. This will open your PC's folder. Next, select the folder and file you want and click "Open." If you wish to use photos from the online gallery, click "Select From Gallery."
- Click "Compile Theme." Click the sentence that reads "Click Here to Download Your Theme."
- Click "Allow" on the status bar. Save the theme to your PC.
- Upload this theme to your iPhone via Bluetooth or USB. It should go into the folder that reads "/var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes/."
